Ok I said I'd never be one who brags on his kids

We have a five year old little girl living with us and when she arrived in the USA last December 6, I said that I would not be the kind of old man who always bragged up his daughter, because sometimes those people annoy me. But darn it, here I go.
As mentioned, she has only been here for less than a year and already she has been in the hospital (apparently her people in the Philippines never heard of dental care), is attending pre school, is the most popular girl in her class, can ride a two wheeled bicycle solo, has an avid appetite for books, speaks English fairly well (as well as any other five year old), and is an avid Obama supporter. On the last point, she may have had a bit of nudging from the old man.
I took her to a local Democratic picnic today where the Mayor of our city showed up and she walked right up to him and hugged him while she said, "You like Obama, you are ok." Everyone who heard her applauded. The mayor gave her a hug and went to his car and got a sticker. So now she has a Scott County Democrats sticker which went on her wall with Dora and so on.

She already loves Da Blues. In fact, after the Mississippi Valley Blues Fest was over earlier this year, she wanted to go back for more. We had to explain it only lasts three days and we are old and tired so we can't go to every event that comes along.

My kids are super smart, read like troopers and very independant. I got no worries on their front.

It is really good to let loose with a good brag now and then.
Sounds like she is quite the little human.
Also sounds like she has daddy wrapped around her little finger. This is a good thing.
Hope we hear more bragging from you!
