Cracklefest - a cultural pheneomenon

...when I was 9-12 y.o., I lived in Tinley Park, IL, and Bob Riggle, the driver of the Hurst Hemi Under Glass, was the uncle of my friend Tommy, from two doors over.

Whenever the Hemi Under Glass was appearing locally, like at US 30 Dragstrip, or the air show at the Great Lakes Naval Air Station, "Uncle Bob" would park the trailer w/the HUG in my friend's driveway, and we'd be in Hot Rod Heaven!
