I just got back from Costco hell

First, let me say I really love the store and the great prices and how they treat the employees.

Ok.

Parking. Never, ever can find a close parking place. Never, ever shop on Friday. They were out of my Healthy Choice Fudge bars (yes it's an addiction) so I went to the other one off of Stockton Blvd. (Sacramento).

Different layout from the one off of Expo. I finally fine the frozen treats. They didn't have them either.

Way to many people from my comfort level.

I has a sad.

Hold me.

However, the one closest to me built their own parking garage. That seems like the best way to do parking for any large-scale shopping center. It also shortens the outer-distance walks.

What Costco needs to figure out is how 24-hr shopping is a huge convenience to many people. I love to go grocery shopping at my local Kroger, especially at 2 ayem

Since I am retired, I usually go during the week when there are not a lot of shoppers. If I need anything on the weekend, I will go on Sunday morning. I never, never go on Saturday. Parking is almost nonexistent and checkout lines are long.

is probably one of the best times to go. The normal mid- to late-morning shoppers haven't gotten there yet, and people like grabbing that day's lunch are long gone

Late evening during the week is still rather crowded where I live, and many of the people I see shopping after 10 pm are often in some kind of medical clothing. Usually not many little kids around those times, though

Kroger is a great store, and I'm glad to have them within a mile of my home.
