How often (if at all) do you change your avatar?

I tend to do it about once a quarter, barring some special event ("I voted", marriage equality, a team I like in the playoffs, etc.) I also notice a lot of people don't seem to at all (and I realize it can be confusing to have someone whose avatar you know change it).

Anyways, my XKCD image is getting a little long in tooth so I was thinking of switching again.

The only two that would come close are the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi and the Afghan girl. Have you seen it at the original angle and framing? I like it better that way for some reason:

I've got the book of Cuba by Korda with all the photos.

The picture which always stick out in my mind the most is the Vietnam one with the young girl running away from the napalm attack.

It's probably in with Suribachi and Afghan girl.

But it's not just cropped, it's rotated. Look at your avatar and the pic I posted. There's about a 6 degree rotation. Makes a huge difference.

On Election Days i will display 'I Voted' to remind others to do the same. And recently I had the 'Health Care .com' logo to show support. (I'll probably return to that for a while when things are sorted out.)

once, after I saw that someone else had the same one (from the DU library).

So now I have my own, and it's easy for me to find when scrolling through threads, unique (I guess), and colorful.

I'll probably keep it unless something better comes along.

Cuz I couldn't figure out how to post pictures and I thought that was the only way you guys would ever see me. I had the kiss my ass, with the Democratic donkey, one for a while. And I used the Aquatic Teen Hunger Force, for years. But it was so adolescent that I was mistaken for a guy all the time. I picked something more feminine. I need to fix my sig line. It's getting old now, too.

And I'll probably keep it after that.

I like the rainbow flag.
