The New Yorker caption editor once did a great interview on Fresh Air. I can't find the image, but the cartoon was a bunch of suits in a meeting with parrots on their shoulders. 95% of the submissions were something along the lines of "we have to have a better way to record the minutes of the board meeting." The one that won was, "Shut up, Frank. Everybody knows your parrot is a clip-on."
