rather than the fencing they show there. I'd also put a trench around the outside, too, to slow down any "live" attackers in vehicles.

...to eliminate walkers. Cheap, quiet, reusable, and safe.

And being springy, they can absorb to a certain extent a walker surge.

You would have to accept that you would have to be constantly on watch, though, with a stabbing weapon, taking out walkers as they came to the fence.

That's what I don't understand about "The Walking Dead"... there should be two people between the fences at any one time, walking the perimeter and stabbing individual zombies as they get to the fence BEFORE they turn into a herd.

With 3-hour shifts, that's only 16 people per day. Fewer if you only run it during daylight hours.
