like he's reporting the Invasion of the Body Snatchers or something.

Les' line of "Oh my god they're turkeys!" might make me laugh more than the "as god as my witness..." line from Mr. Carlson.

There are classics from other shows (Carol Burnett and Tim Conway come to mind).

There is also a relatively more recent one from Frasier. A 7-minute piece featuring Niles preparing to have a Valentine's Day date over for dinner. If you haven't seen it, look it up--it's hilarious!

of a joke that we all laugh at because we've all agreed that it's 1000X funnier than it really is.

Anyway, that's Herb and Mr. Carlson in the pic, rather than Les.
