I think we are driving our dogs insane....been cooking all day, and the house smells like a mix of..

turkey, stuffing, gravy, pecan pie and cornbread. Somehow we've gotten it all into the fridge without any canine (or feline) tresspassing or food invasions....

And I have to admit I am ready to eat everything in sight myself!

I've been cooking today also. Dressed the turkey and put it in the fridge to marinate overnight, made 4 pies, deviled eggs, cut up a veggie platter, went to my brother's house and dressed their turkey. It's been a busy day.

Tonight, though, we're having meatloaf and mashed potatoes, so that means a heavy dinner two nights in a row.

The rug in the kitchen is still a little "damp". They both sit there and watch very intently. The pumpkin cookies cooling on the counter are currently driving them insane. They LOVE pumpkin.
