But they all loved lying under the tree.

and it really was magical. I'd just lie there and look at the lights and the shining ornaments and imagine myself in some Christmas-y alternate universe. I don't know if cats do that, but they might.

All the kitties I've had loved getting under the tree.

I've had too many crossed over, and they all enjoyed the tree.

I always did it when I had a tree (and when the space was clear of cat tinsel barf).

It does look really cool. If you have a tree this year you should definitely do it, but turn the lights on the tree on, and turn all the ones in the room off first... infinitely better that way.

I never had the urge to stuff a mouse in my mouth either..
