The results of the War on Christmas are in. Jesus lost.

Are you at the point where you just can't wait for Christmas to be over? Between Palin's whiny book, Megyn Kelly's Santy Claws Wuz a White Guy thing and the letter we printed where the letter writer can't have a festive Christmas b/c the word Christ isn't painted on all the store windows, I'm ready to have me a good old fashioned Jul or Krampusnacht.

Is that a traditional greeting response or yours?
Regardless, it has been stolen and reused.

Mind if I steal the "May the return of the sun lift your soul!" from you? It's lovely.

The insanity begins the second we get back from Thanksgiving break. Santa's Secret Shop (PTO sells junk to the kids to give as gifts), Christmas programs (and countless practices), 12 stupid Dress-up Days, fund-raisers, ugly sweater contests, Secret Santa exchanges, class parties, assemblies, etc, etc, etc.

It goes on and on. Dec. is pretty much a learning-free zone. They think nothing of cancelling classes for nonsense events. I can't wait for it to end. Bah Humbug.
