(13,447 posts)A long-handled axe or something right to the head. This is going to be gruesome one, I think.

(13,447 posts)I really thought it was going to be Hershel or Dale.

(17,621 posts)That's why I told my niece they didn't just burn the barn instead of opening the door and shooting them as they came out. The stench of burning zombies, then they burned them anyway.

And I don't care what anyone says, the first thing I would grab while in town is some heavy duty latex gloves (particularly if you a big 'ol bandage on your arm).

(56,829 posts)another one that was a bit too slow, but had its good moments.

(29,149 posts)The first half of the season was slow, overall. I've been ready for them to move on from the farmhouse because it was really dragging the pace down.
But I thought this episode was pretty good. The scene at the bar was good stuff--you knew it had to end in some kind of shootout, but the buildup of tension was nice. Made me pretty much forget about the car crash, even.

(27,711 posts)...she's kinda annoying IMHO - she's the only character where I'm just like enough already, get her walkers!

(3,270 posts)I waited since November for this to start back up. Was hoping for a bit more than digging the holes, throw in the bodies, burn a pile, and have a few drinks. Oh well, maybe the next episode will have more action.

(56,829 posts)I keep saying that - maybe next episode will be better.

(12,047 posts)Interesting they'd bring in a new character then kill him off.
I watched the whole first season non-stop in the marathon - that was the BEST!

(3,270 posts)...soooooo nice to watch without any commercials!
I too thought it was strange to kill them off so quickly.
I blinked, so I wasn't sure if the two guys both drew their weapons first before Rick popped them. I know the guy behind him had a shotgun raised, but not sure about the guy behind the bar.

(12,047 posts)I guess his cop senses smelled a rat. I know I did - I felt the OK corral thing coming...
I still want to know what that scientist at the CDC whispered in his ear.
