Both of the smaller birds are my third generation babies of this flock.

When they become full grown adults they will be a little smaller than parakeets.

11. Cowbirds lay eggs in other birds' nests

I had one a few years ago. Two Robin eggs and two Cowbird eggs in the same nest. The robins incubated the eggs and then fed the chicks.

The doves look well-fed.

Mom and Dad did a wonderful job this time.
I'm worried that all 5 eggs will hatch.
Somebody is gonna get knocked outta the nest and get hurt.

Robins are sweet. Those Cowbirds sound crafty. Think how many more eggs they can lay if they aren't busy raising a family.
