120lb woman wins Wing Bowl 22 eating 363 wings

Molly Schuyler wins Wing Bowl with new record; Eagles' Jason Kelce falls in first round

Nebraska woman Molly Schuyler pulled off "the greatest performance in Wing Bowl history," blowing past the all-time record of 337 wings as she finished the last round of the 22nd annual WIP 94 Sportsradio Wing Bowl.

The "120-pound mother from Nebraska," as she became known, ripped through 363 wings. Second-place finisher Patrick Bertoletti, a competitive eater from Chicago, finished with a total of 356.

3. I don't get it either but some of the best competitive eaters are the healthiest

You'd think the winners would be some big overweight slob with a beer gut out to timbuktu. But the most successful ones are some of the healthiest and do some massive training in order to compete. Molly isn't the first female to win this or the lightest one. A few years back the Black Widow won the competition and she was only 108lbs.

4. How does one train for an eating contest?

I presume it's some sort of real training (strength or stamina, or whatever), but I'm having a hard time envisioning what type of physical training would help one be able to eat like that.

He's also a body builder. Alot of the trick is 'mind over matter' - knowing how to ignore your mind telling you're full and keep eating more. He also said he trains by eating 5lbs of veggies at a time.

Gorge yourself to bursting, then guzzle some water so the food expands even more, expanding your stomach beyond the comfort zone. It is a muscle and can be trained/stretched like any other..

Followed by about a quart of water, what, it made me thirsty...I seriously contemplated, ah, "purging" about a half hour later
