I think he's a really talented guy. But I didn't see the halftime show, so I can't speak for that.

I don't like hardly any music at all post 70s but I really like Bruno Mars.
He has such variety, a beautiful voice, energy, good dance moves...
AND HE DOESN'T FEEL COMPELLED TO BE HALF NAKED OR GRAB HIS CROTCH.

Hm, maybe because he has real TALENT!
You should see him in other performances where you can see his range better.

ever seen. 29-0 WTF Hey I don't understand the appeal of Duck Dynasty either.
The only TV serius I watch is the Law and Order SVU show. I ODed on all the CSI shows long ago. I used to like Hawaii 5-0 but the stars in the new one suck. I used to watch Jonny Carson
every night, maybe since Leno is finally gone I can get back into the Tonight Show.
I don't care for any country star since Allen Jackson. I am just plain old.

He is all over the neck. I love the bit in there where he falls backward and his assistant pushes him back up in front of Petty. Very James Brown.

And at the end -- where does his guitar go ?

that Eric Clapton said that. He should know! That part where he falls backward was something! I wonder how the other guys liked him stealing the show and I was wondering the same thing about the guitar. I'm guessing someone was up above the stage and caught it as it looked like he threw it straight up.

right along with Kiedis. 50 isn't the end of your life by any means.

We all were so fired up, the sound for the game got turned down and the jukebox got cranked up. We were dancin' fools.

shopping for walkers, and hastily making arrangements with a funeral home. At least, that's what I thought when I was a teenager, 30++ years ago

From what I've read, he actually sang while dancing rather than dancing around to one of his CDs (I'm talking to you, Beyonce). Not a bad little drum solo up front either.

I liked the little bit of Chili Peppers but I've been reading it wasn't their best performance - never saw them live so I wouldn't have a frame of reference for that.

Then again, if understanding the words is your criteria for an enjoyable performance, we might not be on the same page lol. My favorite music genres are grind and death metal. I haven't understood a lyric in 20-something years.

They're very talented and Bruno has incorporated styles from other famous artists, such as Prince, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Motown groups, and yes...Ricky Ricardo. I'm 67 and my husband is 55 and has been a professional entertainer since age 16. We've seen more live concerts than you can shake a stick at..hehehe ..we believe Bruno Mars delivered.
