Hatch Laughs: Why Denver REALLY Lost

Maybe this will teach Denver not to presume that their end-user/consumer role entitles them to claim the status of chile producers.

Besides, when you hear "Denver green" is chile REALLY the first thing YOU think of?

I didn't think so. Me either.

Shoulda stuck to the real thing, Mr. Mayor.

admonitorially,
Bright

P.S. I'm willing to be proved wrong. Next time I visit Denver I'll happily tour the local chile fields, and eat... my words?

It's already protected the "Chimayo" appellation. Hatch and Socorro won't be far behind.

New Mexicans are pretty easy-going until you mess with our chile!

agreeably,
Bright
