Standing out there in the middle of the bridge, it's awe inspiring thinking about the men building that thing back in the thirties. Nerves of steel.

I love San Francisco. My brother lives there. We need to get back there soon.

and that shot of the city from the bridge is one of my favorite views. In fact, the first time I came across the bridge back into the city... fog was creeping in along the water... I'd heard about the fog creeping in over San Francisco but to see it... it was magic!

I miss SF. The last time I actually visited was 10 years ago. I fly through there on the way up to Oregon all the time though. My wife has never been there and I keep saying one of these times we'll do a stopover.

Especially from the cold and grey Rheinland today. Tomorrow, I have to run down to Vienna, where the weather probably won't be much better, either.

The pastry, on the other hand........
