OMG "House of Cards"!!! President Walker is actually married to the Secretary of State...

In real life that is.

I like how HoC found some many talented actors who haven't had the big name careers (like Kevin Spacey) but are still very talented. One of my favorites from season #2 was Michael Gill, who plays President Walker in HoC. I was reading his biography on IMDB and saw that he was married to Jayne Atkinson in RL - since 1998.

Seems Jayne Atkinson is also an actress so I clicked on her link.

Turns out she's the actress that plays Catherine Durant, Secretary of State in House of Cards.

So in a nutshell she betrayed her RL husband in House of Cards

BTW she's a talented actress herself. She does a great southern belle accent which is interesting because Jayne Atkinson was born in England.

she is one.
Born in England BUT since age of 9 in Hollywood, Florida and graduated from Pine Crest School where she was elected Homecoming Queen in 1977.
