Today's food rave: bleu cheese

Just LOVE it.

I made a salad at the cafeteria salad bar and put in a scoop of "sweet potato salad with bacon and pecans."

I also sprinkled some bleu cheese crumbles on my plate.

I just got a bite of sweet potato, bacon, and bleu cheese.

It's to-die-for!

And, its close cousin, Gorgonzola. Dole has a chopped salad kit that has blue cheese and bacon bits. Yummy, yummy, yummy!

I like to sprinkle it over some good, hard bread, layer sliced tomatoes on top and grill in the oven.

Oregon Blue is my weakness. I always ordered a 'roast beef on a french roll with mustard and mayonnaise and pickles' with an eighth of a pound of Oregon Blue on the side from my local butcher/deli. That blue cheese just made every other flavor explode.

Gimme that moldy ass cheese!

And extra sharp cheddar

And mozzarella...ricotta...feta...provolone...muenster...cream

Very few cheeses I don't like


But yeah...the past week I've been pigging out on salad with chunky bleu cheese dressing
