http://www.buzzfeed.com/chelseamarshall/which-pet-should-you-actually-haveMan I'm a bore. I ended up with a medium to large dog. Which is actually what I have. Except, 2 of them Have to say, they nailed me on the classical author and nailed me on the pets.

I love animals but don't have pets cuz I don't want the responsibility. Both of my cats died 5 years ago and I decided I was done with having pets. I question that decision a lot, but so far have resisted the temptation to get a dog or a cat.
Last year someone gave me a praying mantis and I took good care of it until it died about 8 months later. To be honest, even caring for that insect got to be too muck work. I think I'm all done with having pets.

(30,947 posts)I am using Firefox right now and maybe Firefox does not like Buzzfeed. I'll switch to Safari later and see if it works with the quiz.
But I have had all kinds of pets. Dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes and gerbils. But my preference is big dogs like the two Rottweilers I had that are now in Doggy Heaven. Now I have a Chihuahua who is a total brat. I am 75 years old and could not handle a big dog any longer.

(579 posts)Definitely cats. We've had dogs, but over the years we realized that dogs were a lot more work. When we traveled, we had to board them, as they probably would eat all the food in one day or spill their water....now cats...you can leave them with plenty of water and food and they can fend for themselves pretty well for several days....
