The Oscars were (especially?) ageist & appearance-mocking, maybe always are?

O.K., let's grant that some celebrity types who jump into the excessive plastic surgery thing are shallow and have bad values.

But the mockery of people whose career contributions were Big in their prime was just plain ugly: Kim NOVAK, Liza.

Do the current crew of Kewl Kids in Hollywood believe that they themselves are going to be in charge of everything forever, strutting their hour on the stage forever? My mother had an insight, "Everything passes from fashion, people too" so bask on for now STREEP.

Well, right now on the live re-hash, Ellen opened by saying some people thought she was rude/mean to Liza but that they talked afterward and Liza was "cool, funny" and totally fine with it all.
