Keeping Dogs Safe Under the Witness Protection Program

When we hear Witness Protection Program, thoughts of protecting a life in danger, keeping them safe, and leaving one’s old life behind to create a new one come into mind. Similar to the Justice Department’s program, a new program called Witness Protection Program for dogs, doesn’t necessarily hide dogs forever, but creates new lives for those abused and neglected.

A program run solely by volunteers teaming up with Animal Care and Control, it gives dogs who’ve been found in danger the time to rehabilitate in a safe and secure location during an investigation and until they find a happier home.
