(28,749 posts)It's a funny video but it shows how the adults around him interact, and there is nothing wrong with that.

(22,757 posts)and there is something terribly wrong with what is parroted... I would suggest that nobody in that family takes time to REALLY listen to each other or really respects the other...

(15,774 posts)but I didn't find it all that funny. The kid is going to have real problems when he is in school. They will have problems when he is a teen.
I hate to even think what my Mom would have done if I had called her by he first name. I would still be picking plaster out of my hair. One advantage with having kids when you are older is that you can see done the road. What is cute at 3 can get you in a world of trouble at 13 or 23. Some things you can't negotiate.

(17,621 posts)And it's also true that this video would not have been made when I was three, even if YouTube had existed, because the "discussion" would not have gone on nearly this long -- at least not at my house.
But still, this is freakin' hilarious!

(15,774 posts)of thank god that is not my kid. I was a single mom (as was my Mom) and I did not have time to debate an issue.
Yeah, I am LMAO that this kid isn't my headache and I am glad I am retiring from public education. I have had to deal with way more of these precocious, precious pook'ems than one should..

(70,725 posts)He was an a-hole, said his 3 yr old skewered Al gore by saying, on seeing GORE on t.v., "GORE is a BORE, GORE is a BORE!1"
We all know that 3 yr olds only PARROT what they hear from their significant ones. But KELLER put that out there.

No wonder the kid is being a pain. He's been taught it is cute. I see trouble in their future.
exactly. I have a hard time finding this even the least bit funny mostly b/c it's contrived. and if that kid acts like that with teachers or his friend's parents they won't think it's cute. Those parents are doing their kid a big disservice.

(23,272 posts)That said, this kid is way over due for some manners about interrupting, talking back, begging for treats, talking to mom that way etc.

(34,072 posts)i don't think it's a good thing that he gets away with the "linda, linda, linda" and "linda honey" either.
