Last time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series - Women were not allowed to vote

Just thought I'd share with you that piece of baseball trivia for the start of baseball season.

Chicago Cubs last World Series - 1908
Women's Right to Vote - 1920

Good luck to all the teams this year but in the end only one team will win and that's The Cincinnati Reds (who last won a world series back when Bush Sr. was in the White House)

I better vote.

Just kidding guys.

I am a sad little third generation cub fan. Yeah neither me, my dad or my grandpa saw them win it all.

Crazy 08 by Cait Murphy (Harper 2008).

It was a heckuva season. The book concentrates on the NL race, for reasons that would be obvious to anyone who knows about it.
