Lola Jane Pitt's 1st Birthday Party Weekend

Festivities begin tonight. In-laws have driven all the way from PA only to be challenged by the worst NH mud season in memory. Many friends coming tomorrow...lots of good food...I made a blueberry and an apple pie from an old recipe book that tells you to put a little bit of this and a little bit of that in the pie...should be interesting. Lola is the only one who hasn't a clue of what's going on. I went to the bank yesterday and opened a saving account for her...she'll thank me someday. It is such fun being a "on-scene" Grandma!

there will be pictures of your granddaughter & the festivities! Can't believe she's a year already, they grow so fast.

And yeah, I noticed the attempted hijacking above. Pretty sad they'd do that to a post about a 1 yr old's Birthday party.

that you and other family members and friends are going all out for Lola's first birthday! First birthdays are momentous occasions and should be celebrated heartily. Yep, you're doing the Grandma thing right.
