So this happened to my daughter and her family last Thursday

Brakes failed at the bottom of a hill. She steered hard right to avoid cars waiting at the light and jumped an island ending up on her roof. Nobody was seriously injured. My daughter did get glass imbedded in her hand which was surgically removed yesterday.

Glad everyone was alright. I had an accident once where I hit the median coming off a highway ramp in the rain, I'd hydroplaned. I was just a teenager when it happened and clueless about driving and I froze.with my feet slammed down on the gas and brakes. I hit the median flipped sideways hitting trees and ended up on the other side of the road. To this day I cannot believe that busy road I landed on was empty at the time.

All the tires were blown, windows shattered and I was in shock. I looked around me and saw people running towards me. I was trying to start the car and couldn't speak-

It's a horrible thing to go through. I hope your daughter and her husband are OK- Life is so precious. wow.

He's a firefighter and the accident happened right in front of his station. He told me later that his heart was in his throat when he saw the car on it's roof. My grandson Noah who is autistic pulled his sister out of the car then told her they had airbags.
