I looked out this morning and saw snow on the ground, not much but some. I can't believe that winter is trying for a comeback.
Some flowers and trees had started to bloom. I hope this frost doesn't kill the blooms.

(32,062 posts)but I see on the extended forecast that next week is back to 80s so I think this is our last blast of winter. So I'm trying to enjoy it. For those who have had snow I think many are ready for spring!!

(14,881 posts)It was pouring rain when I went to sleep. I woke up to the sound of sleet. Fell back to sleep. Woke up to the soft whoosh of snow.
Brrr...but I'm kind of glad. I'm working a split night shift tonight, so I need to rest today. If it was was warm out I'd be tempted to get into the garden and overdo, then would have a harder time making it through.
Instead, I'm hunkered down listening to occasional wind howls and in the mood to take a nap.
