My Saturday Night Mental Health Call

My brother was supposed to be out of town tonight, but he panics whenever a sensor light flashes on in his truck so instead of having a tranquil night I'm stressed and getting yelled at again.

That's why we couldn't live together in the first place and it's making me wish that I was back in the homeless shelter.

Gee whiz!

May I suggest that you turn off your phone? That will stop him.

Of course, it may make things worse in the future, but you need to take care of yourself.

You do not have to be there for him to yell at and stress.

He needs to learn to stand on his own two feet, for crissakes.

I'm sorry...

Unfortunately it isn't as simple as that.

I'm living with my brother again--it was the only place I could go besides the homeless shelter or a psychiatric hospital (which I couldn't get admitted to last month since they had no available space). He went out of town today to visit some of his friends with the intention of being gone for at least one night and possibly two nights which would have been a welcome break.

I should know better than to jump in without knowing all the facts.

I hope some really better options come along for you...

I had to cut my sister off completely. She took to calling me up and dumping her screaming rage on me whenever...when it escalated to her threatening me because I believe in climate change, that was it.

Amazing how they think we are there for them to abuse. And it is abuse.

I know how you feel though. Things have been pretty shitty lately. I eat when I'm stressed which is not good.
