I hear tell some visitors from another planet have been monitoring how messed up the human race is, not taking care of this beautiful planet, and they intend to intervene at some point.

Who really knows ? I'm keeping an open mind.

The National UFO Reporting Center Monthly Report Index For 05/2014 hasn't been updated to the night of 5/2-5/3 yet.

Which doesn't seem like much until you think about it a little. No explanation, not swamp gas or weather balloons or passing airliners. So okay, what are they?

My belief is that we are being observed by aliens, but this is such a backwater post that it's manned (alien-ed?) by bored graduate students, who like to play the occasional prank on the unsuspecting humans to relieve the tedium. It's as good an explanation as any.

I doubt they were from space aliens. Too many bright areas in rest-o-galaxy where light is way too strong to evolve eyes.
