* They protect us by constantly checking to be sure all our gravity is working; they do this, usually at night, by pushing things onto the floor.

* They keep your face warm at night by sleeping on it.

* They make sure you don't oversleep, by licking your eyelids at 5:00 a.m.

* They decorate your clothing and upholstery by sacrificing huge amounts of their own fur.

* And they curl up next to you and purr when you're sick. That's the best thing.

I haven't had cold feet in years.

They do their business in a litter box, and don't have to go walkies.

I can leave cheese out if cats are around.

They purr!

My cats love cheese.

I can't stand that sound.

That noise isn't too pretty.

Besides being beautiful/adorable, they are soft and snuggly and purring is the best noise on Earth. Plus they are hilarious. Mine keep me laughing all day long.
