It's trying to dislocate itself, so my MD and I are trying something medical instead of surgical.

I have this humungous sling that holds my arm slightly away from my body. It causes the pectoral muscles to stretch and the back muscles to shrink. It is hoped that this combination will stop my shoulder from any bad motion. It does hold my arm at a 90 degree angle as well. I can sort of use my hand when I'm in the sling.

I don't have to wear it all the time, just as much as possible. I'm not enjoying it!
