What does that mean?
I was given the option of poking him back, so I did.
I hope it's a friendly action.

One of my good friends over there and I have poked each other over 1000 times! It's all good fun, no craziness intended.
We enjoy it.

Does that have to do with some kind of crazy creationist theory?

(5,166 posts)3. Thanks, California Peggy.
I guess it's the equivalent of saying "hi".
Odd, I've been on FB for 3-4 yrs, and never been poked before, and never even heard of it.
How does one initiate a "poke'?

Click on that and there you will see a bunch of names, who are suggestions as to who you'd like to poke.
Or you can just pick a friend to poke. I think it's a drop down menu on each person's wall, but I'm not sure.
Have fun with it!
