whenever I'm in the bathroom with the door closed. One of my bathroom doors has claw gouges all along the bottom edge.

because she had trouble with dry food (she was missing 6 teeth) and she wouldn't defend her canned food from the other cats or the dogs, so she had to be fed in isolation. But that meant the other cats and the dogs began to associate the bathroom door being closed with potential leftovers. Coming out of the bathroom was often a good way to get stampeded as the predators swarmed in to try to be the first to get to the expected food bowl. The looks of disappointment when they realized it was just one of the stupid humans using the bathroom were amusing though.
