I would be a Sabal Palm, the state tree of Florida.
Ubiquitous throughout the state in both the northern and southern portions. Fairly cold hardy and durable during hurricanes.

(20,176 posts)It makes you pee retained water without causing water-shedding into the lower bowel. No excess water in the bowel means no effect on stool. It's mildly-antiseptic and is typically used to treat UTIs.

(8,492 posts)My favorite tree at one of my favorite forest preserves was a White Oak. I miss him terribly. On the day before I left for AZ, I went to see him and picked up a couple of acorns off the ground. I still have them. He comforted me at some very difficult times. I have no idea how old he was, how tall or the circumference of his trunk. I know he was old, had a gorgeous, massive canopy and was the most beautiful tree I had ever seen.
It would also mean that I could get out of Arizona.
This isn't him, but it's close enough.
