Some say a spirit can be trapped in a place where they die due to not being able to let go of the trauma. That is one of the theory why many places like old jails and hospitals are hunted.

Yet another says that spirits will haunt a place they were fond of in life, a place of great joy. That place are not always where they died.

Alcatraz was a men's prison but I know some families did live on the island.

She may still call it home. She could have been very happy there.

Then again something bad may have happened and she can not let go.

As for your question-- I just don't know. I don't think there are any hard-and-fast rules but who can say?

Anyone?

Determine if ghosts actually exist before they could start to properly observe them to be able to come to such a conclusion. Also ghosts wearing clothes would be total bunk, clothes don't have spirits or souls. In conclusion, the pic is a hoax, all ghost pics are hoaxes or camera artifacts or tricks, pareidolia and the likes..

I mean the thread is about rules that ghosts would follow. Physical tangible rules. You would have to first establish that ghosts exist and find a way to measure them before you could come to any conclusion about what kind of 'rules' they would be forced to abide by.

the only thing that proves is that you watch too many of those ghost hunters tv shows.

For that reason. It's ridiculous. As you know it is impossible to prove something does not exist, so i won't waste my time trying to do that. All I know is that there is no concrete evidence of ghosts existing. Just people saying they see them, which could be a number of things. Hallucinations caused by drugs, alcohol, infrasound or just the brain playing tricks on you. There are also peop,e that deliberately lie about it as well. I don't care if people want to believe that ghosts are haunting places, I find the whole idea to be silly. Show me some real evidence and then I won't mind changing my feelings about the possibility of ghosts.

and they didn't notice.

I've been on the tour and it's not scary at all. It's just very old. People, tourists are all over that place.

So, no IMO not a ghost.

i saw a family member who had died when i was a child--looking completely normal, smiling, talking to me (and no, i wasn't in bed or asleep or dreaming. i was playing in the afternoon)

anyway--the person in the photo, imo, looks like a barbie doll. seriously. either a barbie or some other type of doll
