an industrial machine company (new and used) and would look for ways to save a few bucks.

One time, instead of contracting with a professional rigger (who would load the machine onto a truck and transport it to the customer), my dumbass boss decided to do it himself.

Needless to say, he ended up damaging the machine, and cost himself twice what it would have been to have it done by a professional.

Book smart, but his cheapness made him pretty stupid otherwise.
