If there is good in 'friending' people from back home, they remind you

why you left in the first place, and their lives serve as cautionary tales as to the folly of never branching out or doing new things, or going to new places and meeting new people.

So while part of me would like to just unfriend all of them, another part of me feels sorry for them, and wants to maintain the 'friend'-ship so as to see how much better I have it.
