TreasonousBastard
(43,049 posts)She would sit by the stove waiting for the corn pot to cool down and then dig an ear out to eat.
The other cat wasn't so big on corn, but it was hell cleaning fish-- if he was around he'd jump up and clamp down on the tail trying to steal it.

The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,820 posts)and I have no idea why. I don't think it's the butter because then they'd just lick it. It's a vegetable and it's sweet - a couple of not-cat-food characteristics. And cat teeth are all wrong for eating corn. And yet the kitties love it.
