(9,527 posts)But it's still not real armor. You wouldn't see Batman or Superman in that little.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)the old Batman didn't really wear armor, either... though, I think modern day Batman's suit is a bit hardier than the old leotards from before Frank Miller's Dark Knight in the mid 80s. But, Batman also isn't as tough as Superman or Wonder Woman.
I wonder if the fanboys would be outraged if Superman had bare thighs, arms & shoulders like Wonder Woman, though?

NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)that she looked like an updated version of Xena. Not that that is a bad thing.

(42,170 posts)So, what happened to the pants costume?
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)David E. Kelley was the producer, and Adrianne Palicki as WW. Those who saw the pilot thought the show sucked and the costume did as well - gave WW two alter egos - one a high powered CEO, and the other some insecure secretary or something like that.
wyldwolf
(43,869 posts)... aside from the two alter egos the pilot wasn't half bad, IMO
That being said, rumor was just a few months ago that Gal Gadot's costume would look like this:

(56,828 posts)thanks for the link - she looks like a brunette Pam Anderson in the first one, though the others are a bit more realistic

(56,828 posts)was more the chainmail bikini type, if I recall. While it may look great to the teen fanboys, it's not really very practical.
