Ever since "The Walking Dead" came to television, fans of Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's zombie epic have been clamoring for The Governor; one of the most memorable villains to appear in the original comic book series. And later this year, the fans will finally get their wish.
TVLine is reporting that David Morrissey has been signed to portray The Governor in "The Walking Dead" season 3 on a regular basis.
American audiences may best know Morrissey from his appearance on the "Doctor Who" special "The Next Doctor" alongside David Tennant. The British actor has also appeared in "Captain Corelli's Mandolin," "The Reaping," "Basic Instinct 2," "State of Play," "Our Mutual Friend," "Sense and Sensibility" and "Centurion."

Sorry I didn't see your posts.
I've heard that info about Rutina but I thought that was originally just a rumor and unsubstantiated, especially since it's been confirmed that she will be appearing in the new season of True Blood.
