Former WWE champ chases down suspected burglar in Phoenix

A pro wrestler chased down two men who were suspected of burglarizing a Phoenix home on Thursday evening, according to police.

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson, known in the ring as Daniel Bryan, ran after two men who were exiting an Arcadia home around 7 p.m. Thursday, said Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson.

Danielson caught up with one of the suspects, who was identified as Cesar Sosa, Thompson said. The former pro wrestler "was able to subdue" Sosa until police arrived, according to Thompson.

Sosa was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of burglary. Sosa also had a felony warrant out for his arrest in connection with kidnapping and burglary, Thompson said.
