I have friends that have kids that don't return calls. It doesn't mean they don't love their parents.

Mine calls at least once a week, whether I want him to or not.

My son is working 60 hours a week and undoubtedly exhausted and forgetful. I'm just glad I called his mom, I was getting worried.

...he's just freakin' busy and exhausted. If he lives within driving distance, make a date to go fishing or something...a month or so in advance. Sounds like he could use a break. Or, tell him you'll come over and BBQ for him. Mine is too far away, but we still make plans for when I can eventually afford a trip out there. Someday.

Have a great weekend.
