A tree can be in the wrong place.

So the grouchy old man wouldn't let me trim a couple of branches that affected his wire as much as mine. But now in my side there's this flowering tree soon to bother my wire. Fine.

It's in the wrong place. There are other wild "trees" that sprout on the fences lines because birdies sit on fences and poop seeds down on fence lines.

It's all a matter of haircuts.

This place used to be all fields and hedgerows. I really did not mind the wild roses and berry bushes. Now, more than 20 years later we have those wild cherry and plum trees, even some oaks and maples all shading the wrong parts of the yard. They aren't on our property, they belong to the farm next door.
