Android smartphones and rebooting....

After you install an app from Google Play, it's a waste of time to reboot your phone, correct ? I'm so used to desktops running Windows requiring a reboot. Thanks in advance.

I'm so used to desktops running Linux not requiring a reboot so it wasn't much of a change for me.

And I don't think I have an app that requires it (my apps are minimal--- FB, a few games, and a few news sites).

I have a Galaxy 4 if that makes a difference.
