You're right, of course. The video and the joy in the owner's voices of the dog's actions is what is uplifting - the hell with the assholes.

Bu, he likes to chew the handles off. The moment there is one in the kitchen, he appears like magic. We are not sure if he can smell them or hear them rustle, but he always knows when there is one around.

(And before anyone scolds me about the bags, we re-use, re-purpose, and re-cycle the few we do get.)

6. I wish my dog would do this! What a smart pup!

My first dog didn't help with the groceries, but she did stick her head in every bag to see what was in there and then wait patiently if there was something for her. She would also look in purses when friends/family came over and set them on the floor or the sofa. She was the best dog, ever. I still miss her.
