But this time there is something in them I'm allergic to.
It's like I rubbed poison oak on my feet. Itchy. Oozy.
Yes, I did acquire a latex allergy working in medical labs, but until now nothing that could reach through socks.
Or maybe this something new.
I don't like change.

Probably all made in America, like when TVs were made in America.
Yes, I'm that old.
Now you can't shop for shoes without being blinded by color and style choices, I just get sick thinking about it.
Back in the day I bought Ben Davis shirts and Levis 501s and Red Wing Irish Setter boots, that took me through college.
I'll admit to spending a sum on some slick Tony Lamas, wish I still had them!
