Need help identifying a song (vague earworm) EDIT: lastlib ID'd it :)

Last edited Sun Aug 31, 2014, 08:40 PM - Edit history (1)

I think it was from the 60's or 70's, but not sure which! It's a lament about war and other bad stuff going on, almost in list form.
I thought of it when recalling tunes with bridges I like. It has a nice acoustic guitar bridge.

I made pancakes, and a friend called, and I was starting to feel bad about DUers wracking their brains trying to figure out what it was.

around three in the morning, when I was half-asleep. They actually have some pretty good "bumper" music between all the segments of talk about aliens, out-of-body experiences, etc. DH and I found the station after losing our good all-night talk show station in San Francisco, KGO, to right wing Cumulus, which bought it.

They don't talk aliens, but Hippy Radio out of Nashville plays some good old ones.
