I have seen a lot of poker hands but never a Royal Rush but today I saw the closest thing

by poker hands I mean real and computer or anything that isn't supposed to be scripted or weighted,

Today using up my free trial for Poker Superstars II I saw a 9, 10, J, Q, and K all of the same suit (wasn't my hand by the way) and don't really know how rare that really is but was still impressed though I've seen straight flushes before.

On a side topic, the free trials at Wild Tangent Games are great if you never stop playing. Right when I was starting to get really good at Superstars III(I was actually on top of the standings early into the season as opposed to bottom cellar), I had to go somewhere. Came back and found out I used up my free trial. Luckily I saw Superstars II next to it and I gave it a go. I didn't see any significant changes between the two, it is like they're the same game but it may be harder as I went back to being a bottom feeder but I made too many mistakes. One was I kept chasing those $216,000 raisers before the flop when there was still a full table. You're awarded points based on when you were eliminated if you were eliminated at all.

I learned to just sit until a few more players were eliminated before chasing those assholes. What helped was I got the hang of a one-to-one play which is entirely a different game where your opponents just feel like raising like crazy regardless of what they have.

The ones that checked all the way to the end drove me crazy when it wasn't until the last card where they beat me, I ask myself what if I raise? I wasn't used to it because I always fold if I have a 7 or a 4 for example as my strategy is to try not to lose any money at all.

On edit - Correction, I didn't win a table until I was in the qualifying part of the playoffs on II(I also won another in the quarterfinals). On III I was in first place because of 2 second place finishes in my first 3 games. The other of the 3 was either a 3rd or maybe a 4th place finish.

The last season I was able to play I had an extremely fortunate game. First 3 hands were gold. Second game was bad luck but I actually won the third game. Then I advanced further into the playoffs and to let you know, the poker season is looong. Sleep deprivation was killing me knowing that if I stopped, I couldn't return to the progress I made. I accidentally folded two Kings on the flop just because I was folding so much. Then I accidentally called a raise on a hand I didn't have a prayer of winning.

I probably would have cashed out long before, unless it was a high stakes game and he was betting big. I've never seen a high stakes video poker machine before though.

Texas hold'em is a different story. 7 cards and most are shared with all players

Royal Flush 1 in 30,000
Straight Flush 1 in 3500(fairly common)

Made almost nothing on it, since it didn't really hit anybody else, but it was still a pretty cool thing to see.

But the craziest hand I ever saw was in Omaha Hold'em. A four-of-a-kind was beaten by a straight flush, WHICH WAS BEATEN BY A HIGHER STRAIGHT FLUSH! Now, Omaha tends to have higher average hands than most other poker variants (because everyone has 4 hole cards, and more people tend to stay in a hand longer) but that was still an amazing thing to see.

I was so nervous, I forgot to discard the one.. card that I needed to get rid of...so............

I had six cards in my hand at that moment......so???

Now, there was 4 nickels in the pot, we were playing for nickels in l959...I was 13...I was playing with my friend Al...
no one else. just...the two of us...so...He says ok, you can have it...what a moment in time...

I forgot to discard..would have been ruled illegal...oh well..great story for what it is worth...it is the truth...
