gah! year of the stinging things...

While doing morning chores, I studied the area (from a safe distance) and saw where the yellow jackets were entering and leaving their hole in the ground. Felt pretty good about being able to take care of it tonight.

And then, back in the barn, I checked the ceiling again. Wasps. Big, black wasps. Building a next right now at the top of the ceiling, about 13' up. Off to the hardware store this morning to get get another thing of 20' hornet killer. I'm thinking it may be best to wait until they finish so there will be a single exit hole. Otherwise, I might get overwhelmed with all of them coming at me at once
