Talk to my 14 yo grandson about it, and share other life-determining decisions that were made by teens. I just did that yesterday, when I told him to ask his uncle how it worked to take time off school before attending college.

And move on, dealing with the crap I dealt myself.

A bit difficult to be a teen heart-throb when you're 56

A lot of other things are easier, albeit with dedicated work.
