Just had lunch w/DUers for the first time in ages. We should all do this more often!

It was easier when there were protests and rallies to attend. Nevertheless, it's fun to hang out and make friends and discuss things in person. You don't even have to guess their tone!

DUers rock!

We don't have a lot of DUers in my area, but I've really liked every single one I've met...

I've done this a few times, too, and have never been disappointed.

I even adopted my cat from another DU-er!

I suppose I'd have to take the initiative if I wanted to do this real bad. I'm not that great at that kind of thing, lol. I'm usually like 'hey, if someone's having a party or something they can contact me and maybe I'll go or maybe not'. Haha!

It's easier when connected to an event that people will be going to anyway, too.

It can't hurt to post something and see if anyone bites!

If or when I feel like doing that I could connect it to an event in New Mexico like the annual Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque or the Christmas Eve walk along Canyon Road in Santa Fe. Thanks again.

Topics/Places/US and find your state - sometimes there's folks in there doing all kinds of fun things. I'm guilty of not checking mine very often but I probably should.

I'm in the hoodie, holding the near-end of the banner.

Long-gone DU-er EverythingXen is holding the other end.

During the protest, and at a meet-up afterward for drinks and to warm up after standing in the dismal cold and rain, I got to meet DU-ers AuntGen and AlienGirl (RIP )
